Tatuanui School - A rural school making a difference

Reaching our full potential and
being the best we can be!

PRINCIPAL UPDATE 6th September 2021   MOVE TO ALERT LEVEL 2

I hope this finds everyone fit and well!

It is wonderful to hear the news that our school will be moving to Level 2, welcoming students back on Thursday 9th September

Our goal is to ensure the continuing well-being of learners, parents, caregivers, whanau and staff, and education services are restored at Tatuanui School.

I am currently reviewing our Alert Level 2 Action Plan and will get it out to you tomorrow. PLEASE take the time to read it as there are important actions that require you as parents/caregivers to follow such as drop off and pick up rules, entering the school, providing named drink bottles and keeping children home if they are sick.

Our teachers and teacher aides will spend Wednesday 8th preparing classrooms and setting up procedures for safe practices at school during Alert Level 2. Sheree will also be back in the office on Wednesday to assist with the administration requirements for Thursday onwards.

The bus and minivan will operate from Thursday 9th September.

Kindest Regards,

Denise Jones
